The films, sculptures and images of Jon Rafman explore the digital world and its emotional and existential effects on contemporary life. Often interested in exploring community online, his work is equally involved with a perceived and wide reaching loneliness through digital interaction. Both historian and anthropologist, Rafman archives as much as he creates, creating a deep and prescient practice out of his roaming subjectivity.

His recent solo shows include 'ɐɹqɐpɥǝʞ ɐɹʌɐ' at Neon Parc, Brunswick, Melbourne (2023), 'Jon Rafman' at Neon Parc, Melbourne (2023), 'Minor Daemon' at 180 The Strand, London (2023),  'Counterfeit Poast' at Sprüth Magers, Berlin (2022) and 'Ɛցɾҽցօɾҽʂ and Grimoires' at Schinkel Pavillon, Berlin (2022).
