A work about the blurring of the vision in advanced states of an infection. In advanced status, sexually transmitted dis- eases blur the vision and permanently reveal the hidden stereogram in the pattern. The wallpaper has an autostereogram hidden in the pattern only visible if you stare at it squinting your eyes. (An autostereogram is a single-image stereogram (SIS), designed to create the visual illusion of a three-dimensional (3D) scene from a two-dimensional image). So if you semiclose your eyes or cross them (there are different techniques) looking at the pattern from a frontal prespective another hidden pattern in 3D of the silhouettes of the three viruses (syphilis, gonorrhea and HIV) will appear.
